Vincent and Rebecca Vierck: Vince opened Re-Born Automotive in a small two bay gas station in Vancouver in 1983 when he was 19. In 1988 he opened and continues the operation of Re-Born in SE Portland. Then and to this day passionate about cars and anything mechanical. He enjoys working on his multitude of vintage British and German Sports cars, camper bus and motorcycles. Another passion is crafting Arts and Crafts era furniture in his woodshop and brewing beer. Becky is the always optimistic smiley face of Re-Born whose interests include gardening, sewing beautiful clothes for their six grandchildren, planning gatherings and being the best Nana, mother and wife possible. Together they enjoy working their property, involvement in their church, traveling the world and camping in the beautiful NW. After 36 years in the business, they both are stepping back some, enjoying the fruits of their labors as they turn the helm over to the trusty grips of Hans. How fortunate and blessed they are.

Hans Vierck: Hans is the manager of Re-Born and as you can guess, has grown up in the business and has a true zeal for cars and the industry. Hans was just five when he disassembled and assembled a VW carburetor at the shop. He has a true gift of the mechanical mind with impeccable diagnostic strategies and he brings that same gift into the office taking care of our customers and work family. Hans is married to Amy and they have three beautiful children, Alexa, Hannah and Carter and they live and enjoy the country life on five acres in Hockinson, WA. They enjoy spending valuable time with their kids, dogs and all family and get out camping and off-roading in their Land Rover whenever possible. Hans is working hard learning and absorbing the complexities of running an auto repair service facility in the 2020’s and like everything he does, he does it with flair and compassion! Well done Hans.

Jesse St Jules: Jesse joined Re-Born in 2021 and we are so thankful to have him on our team! Canadian born, he has a passion for cars, which ignited when he started working on his own cars in high school. Jesse was the top of his class in the automotive program at Portland Community College. Besides working at the shop you can find Jesse doing simulator car racing, working on his own vehicles, and spending time with his German Shepherd Oakly.

Garrett Watson: Garrett recently joined our team in September of 2022. His interest in cars started in high school when he started to drive. Growing up in the PNW, he naturally chose the automotive program at Clackamas Community College and graduated in 2017. Since then he has stayed in the automotive field. When not at the shop he loves to draw, specifically portraits and abstracts, mountain biking, and weight training. Not to mention a martial arts black belt. Happy to have you on our team Garrett!
