This is the shop I prefer for taking my older tricky vehicle for quality repair and diagnostics. Our VW Vanagon has various modifications via previous owners along with an engine conversion. It's not easy finding a shop that is willing to take on this type of vehicle, but these folks took on the challenge without slightest flinch. The crew has also been patient in answering all my questions and are very thorough when it comes to keeping me up to date on the status of the work and issues that typically pop up during repair. My vehicle was running lean and the first mechanic I went to said the diagnosis was to replace all four injectors for $1000 because they didn't know which one had the issue. I took it for a second opinion at Reborn Automotive in Portland and they cleaned off my O2 sensor... and sent me on my way. My vehicle is now running perfectly (for days). I feel like the O2 sensor should have been the first thing they checked; I dodged a bullet on that $1000 bill because of Reborn-- Thank You! Also had very kind staff and a large clean waiting room.

I've been bringing my Honda Accord here for about a year now, and have nothing but good things to say about this place. The work they do is thorough, and they're always transparent about what does (and does not) need to get done at any given moment. They've really allowed me to stop worrying about my car, if I'm being completely honest. Highly recommended; I can't imagine taking my car anywhere else at this point.

I've been taking my '98 Volvo and '03 Camry to Re-Born for many years. They are always friendly and responsive to my concerns. They address the problems I bring the car in for and call me to explain the work and the estimate of the cost before proceeding with anything beyond what we first discussed. The car is ready when they say it will be and the work is always good. More recently, I had a problem with my car not starting in cold weather. Even though Re-Born couldn't replicate the problem, Hans did some research and discovered the likely cause. It was a relatively inexpensive fix and it solved the problem.

Honest and thorough every time. I am always very pleased by their recommendations and their work.
