Maintaining an older vehicle can get expensive. Even though I trust without question that your charge for the work is fair, I think you might be wise to revisit one policy. That policy would be when determining a problem, in this case an alternator, the $40 diagnostic charge should be reduced or waived if the customer authorizes Reborn to do the work. If the customer does not authorized Reborn to do the work, then a diagnostic charge for your time would be appropriate. A similar analogy would be that remodelers do not charge for their time to bid a job. HVAC contractors do not. Some plumbers do and I have just moved onto the next listing. Thanks for listening.

I always get what I ask for and in a timely way. I like the additional info I rec'd about brakes, tires and 80K checkup. If you have a moment, please send me a list of things done at the 80K checkup.

I had yet another positive experience with Re-Born Automotive. I used the free transportation option for the first time. After I dropped off my car, Becky stopped what she was doing to drive me to my office and she picked me up just a few hours later when my car was ready. Re-Born is always extremely clean and the staff is always helpful, happy to help, and organized. I live in SW Portland and driving to Re-Born is a little out of my way, but the positive experience keeps me going back.

These guys did some work for me that was astonishing. Long story, but I'll never go elsewhere for work on my Suburu. I recommend them to everyone and have never been more in better hands in any repair shop ever.

This was my first visit with Re-Born, and even though the cost of my repair was over the initial estimate and I was without my van for 3 days, I was very impressed overall. It was in for a failed steering angle sensor, but to make a long story shorter, it was not a straightforward repair. Mike was very knowledgeable and proactive in keeping me updating during the course of his work on the van, and he has a very practical and honest approach. I'll definitely go back to Re-Born.
